After a delightful lunch of assorted sandwiches and choice of soup, followed by a selection of sweets , tea or coffee, local author Lezlie Lowe will talk with us about her book The Volunteers, How Halifax Women Won the Second World War.

2023 Heritage Luncheon with Len Wagg

Len Wagg is an award-winning Canadian photographer, author and presenter. A visual storyteller for over three decades, he is well known for capturing the majestic beauty of his native Nova Scotia's wildlife and salt-strewn landscapes. Len's work has been published in the New York Times, Maclean’s, TIME Magazine, and other renowned publications. He is the author of 10 books, including the award winning Wild Nova Scotia.

In September, Rockingham Heritage's treasurer, Wayne Ingalls, leads over 40 enthusiastic members and guests on a Heritage Walk along historic Dakin Drive.
